All praise is due to Allah who is One and blessings and salutations
be the last prophet, his family members, all his companions and his on the followers. After praising Allah and sending blessings and salutations on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), now let us come to the real subject.
This booklet titled "Useful Means of a Happy Life", which is in front of you, presents the meaning of real happiness, which is the biggest goal of every human being in this life. People have different views about what good luck is and how it is achieved. Some people think that good luck is achieved by accumulating and multiplying money, Some people think that health, peace and progress of the country is achieved by Some people think that halal is achieved by sustenance and beneficial education, while some people think that it is achieved by true faith, good deeds and piety. By the way, all these things can come under the purview of good fortune, if they do not conflict with the Shariah principles. But actually there are two types of good luck:
1- Worldly good fortune, which is temporary and remains limited to the short and changeable age of man.
2- The fortune of the hereafter, which is infinite and limitless.
Actually both these good fortunes are necessary for each other and are interrelated. Thus, the fortune of this world is linked to the fortune of the Hereafter, and the whole fortune of this world and the Hereafter is obtained by the pleasure of Allah from His pious believing servants. The command of Allah Ta'ala is:
"Whoever does a good deed, whether male or female, provided that he is a believer, We will give him a good life and We will reward such people more than what they used to do." [Sura An-Nal, verse number: 97]
My dear brother! Tell me, in your own eyes, what is complete good fortune and how can it be attained? Similarly, what is sheer misfortune and how can we avoid it?
