Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Public Relations, Werbung, Marketing, Social Media, Note: 1,3, Technische Universität Berlin, Veranstaltung: Methoden des Usability Engineering und Testing, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel der Postergestaltung war es, der Themenstellung auf adäquater Weise gerecht zu werden. Im Mittelpunkt standen hierbei objektive, wie subjektive Methoden der Aufmerksamkeitserfassung am Bildschirm. Diese Unterteilung geht zurück auf Fleischhauer (2006). Den Gestaltern des Posters war es wichtig, zum einen einschlägige und valide Verfahren der Aufmerksamkeitsmessung darzustellen und andererseits die große Vielfalt der Herangehensweisen an diese Thematik aufzuzeigen. Die Einleitung gibt einen kurzen physiologischen Einstieg mit dem Zitat John Lockes: "Nichts kommt in den Verstand, was nicht vorher in den Sinnen war." Über zwei zentralen Hypothesen, der eye-mind-hypothesis und der immediacy hypothesis führt dieser Teil des Überblicks ansatzweise in die Thematik ein. Anschließend gibt die Grafik die Methoden wieder, die sich mit der Aufmerksamkeitserfassung befassen. Eingeteilt sind diese in objektive und subjektive Verfahren. Hierbei erfassen objektive Verfahren Daten wie zum Beispiel die Verweildauer von Blickbewegungen auf einem bestimmten visuellen Objekt (Fixationen) oder auch die Wechsel von einem Objekt auf das nächste (interessante) Objekt können ausgelesen werden (Sakkaden). Im Gegensatz dazu nehmen subjektive Methoden das subjektiv Erlebte auf, was der Nutzer in Interaktion mit dem System erfahren hat. Dies kann zum Beispiel mit einer anschließenden Befragung erfolgen. Im Hauptteil werden 3 Methoden näher erläutert. Das sogenannte Eye Tracking, die Lorem-Ipsum/Site-Covering-Methode und die Verbal-Protocol-Analysis.
