About the Book

Die Wende von der Input- zur Outputorientierung in der empirischen Forschung hat Defizite im Leistungsstand von Schulerinnen und Schulern sowie Zusammenhange mit ausserunterrichtlichen Faktoren aufgedeckt. In der Folge ruckte auch die Unterrichtsqualitat zunehmend in den empirischen Forschungsfokus. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden fachlich-didaktische und padagogische Konzepte zu gutem Unterricht in Verbindung mit empirischen Befunden gebracht. Daraus wurde ein Modell fur Merkmale guten Unterrichts fur den Erwerb und den Ausbau der Schriftkompetenz entwickelt und in einer Interventionsstudie mit Kontrollgruppen von Klasse 1 bis 3 erprobt. Um die Lernentwicklung der Klasse und der einzelnen Kinder zu erfassen, wurden Test- und Lernbeobachtungsinstrumente eingesetzt und damit gewonnene Ergebnisse mit quantitativen und qualitativen Verfahren ausgewertet. Daruber hinaus wurde der Unterricht innerhalb der drei Schuljahre videographiert. Die Videodaten wurden beispielhaft fur den Kompetenzstand der Schulerinnen und Schuler und die Umsetzung des Konzepts im Hinblick auf einzelne Qualitatsmerkmale analysiert. Die Datenauswertung wurde durch Fallanalysen erganzt. In drei Kontrollklassen wurden Tests zur Erfassung der Lernausgangslage sowie der Rechtschreib- und Leseleistung eingesetzt. Die Ergebnisse wurden vergleichend mit denen der Untersuchungsklasse betrachtet. Aus den gewonnenen Ergebnissen wurden Hypothesen fur die weiterfuhrende Forschung abgeleitet.
