Allerdings gibt es noch immer viele Unternehmen, die dies nicht anbieten, weil zum einen die Kontrolle der Mitarbeiter nicht mehr gegeben ist und zum anderen oft die damit einhergehende Angst besteht, aufgrund der mangelnden Kontrolle eine sinkende Arbeitsleistung der Angestellten festzustellen. In der vorliegenden Untersuchung wird anhand von teilstrukturierten Experteninterviews ein Überblick über den Zusammenhang zwischen Home Office und der Zufriedenheit von Arbeitnehmern der Generation Y mit dem Arbeitgeber untersucht. Die Arbeitgeberzufriedenheit wurde dabei anhand der Themenblöcken Arbeitstage im Home Office, sportliche Aktivität und Betriebszugehörigkeit versucht messbar zu machen. Es wurden drei Experteninterviews durchgeführt. Die Auswahl der Experten basiert auf die in Studienarbeit beschriebenen Kriterien. Die Ergebnisse dieser Studienarbeit sind, dass es soziale Faktoren wie freie Zeitgestaltung, der ökologische Faktor und die Anfahrtszeit gibt, die dazu führen könnten, mit dem Arbeitgeber zufriedener zu sein, wenn Home Office angeboten wird. Allerdings gibt es auch negative soziale Aspekte im Home Office wie Überstunden, fehlende soziale Kontakte und fehlendes Vertrauen in Mitarbeiter, die berücksichtigt werden müssen. Der Zusammenhang zwischen der Zufriedenheit mit dem Arbeitgeber und den Arbeitstagen im Home Office kann in dieser Studienarbeit nur teilweise bestätigt werden. Auch die Zusammenhänge zwischen der sportlichen Aktivität und der Betriebszugehörigkeit im Zusammenhang mit dem Anteil der Arbeitszeit im Homeoffice können in Studienarbeit nur bedingt bestätigt werden.
