Betrachtet man die Leitgedanken zum Kompetenzerwerb genauer, sieht der Bildungsplan das Fördern und Sichern sprachlicher Fähigkeiten der Schüler und Schülerinnen als eine der zentralen Aufgaben des Deutschunterrichts in der Realschule an. Hierzu zählt unter anderem das Erweitern der sogenannten mündlichen Kommunikationskompetenz der Jugendlichen. Das heißt, die Schüler und Schülerinnen sollen die Sprache als Mittel zur Verständigung erfahren und erleben. Dafür ist es nötig, Gespräche zu führen, zu untersuchen und zu reflektieren. Ferner sollen sie eine Konfliktlösekompetenz entwickeln, die mit Hilfe von Konfliktlösestrategien angebahnt werden kann, um gerade im Fall von Kommunikationsstörungen adäquat reagieren zu können. Dies führt zusätzlich zu einer Stärkung der sozialen Kompetenz. Die Unterrichtsstunde "Du verstehst mich einfach nicht! - Analyse von Kommunikationsstörungen anhand des Kommunikationsmodells von Schulz von Thun" bedient die Teilbereiche "Sprechen" und "Schreiben", die mit den weiteren Teilbereichen "Lesen/Umgang mit Texten und Medien" und "Sprachbewusstsein entwickeln" die vier Arbeitsbereiche des Faches Deutsch in der Realschule bilden. So ist das Thema in vielfältiger Art und Weise geeignet, Kompetenzen aus diesen Bereichen anzubahnen und zu vertiefen. Es versucht die Schüler und Schülerinnen an das Untersuchen und Reflektieren von Sprache und Kommunikation heranzuführen. Als "Handwerkszeug" dient ihnen dabei das Kommunikationsmodell von Schulz von Thun, mit dessen Vier-Ohren-Modell sich Kommunikationsstörungen gut herausarbeiten lassen, so dass die Jugendlichen nac
