Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Sport, Sportpädagogik, Note: 1,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Sportunterricht nach modernen pädagogischen Maßstäben soll mehr sein als das Abhandeln traditioneller Sportarten mit Lernerfolgskontrollen - er sollte Mehrperspektivität und Methodenvielfalt berücksichtigen und die Schüler in verstärktem Maße zur Übernahme von Verantwortung für die Gestaltung des Unterrichts und des eigenen Lernprozesses, zur Einbindung auch sportlich schwächerer Schüler und zur Kommunikation untereinander anregen. Während im lehrerzentrierten Unterricht die Möglichkeiten zur Eigeninitiative und Gestaltung für Schüler relativ beschränkt sind, legt das Konzept von J.P. Martin, "Lernen durch Lehren", viel Wert auf Schülerorientierung, die Herausbildung gesellschaftlich relevanter Qualifikationen wie Problemlösekompetenz, Konflikt- und Konsensfähigkeit, Teamfähigkeit sowie kreatives und exploratives Verhalten. Würden Schüler einer 5. Klasse bereits in der Lage sein, im Rahmen des Hamburger Lehrplans "Führungsaufgaben" und Verantwortung für die Gestaltung einer Unterrichtsstunde zu übernehmen, um auf diese Weise eine handlungs- und schülerorientierte, freundvolle, motivierende und trotzdem zielgerichtete Komponente für den Sportunterricht zu gewinnen und bei den Schülern eine Entwicklung und Erweiterung individueller Handlungskompetenzen zu erreichen? Da ein solcher Unterrichtsversuch die Altersstufe der Schüler berücksichtigen muss, ist "Völkerball" der Inhalt der durchgeführten Unterrichtseinheit. Ziel der jeweiligen Stunden ist, dass eine Schülergruppe die Mitschüler zu einem Aufwärmspiel anleitet und dann in eine neue Völkerballvariante einführt. Die Arbeit betrachtet die Möglichkeiten, aber auch die Grenzen, die Methode "Lernen durch Lehren" bei so jungen Schülern durchzuführen.
