He left a man and woman permanently injured in a horrendous assault-with enough physical and emotional scars to last a lifetime. Now, after just fourteen years, violent criminal Jerry Harwell is free to walk the streets once again.
Among those shocked and disgusted at this miscarriage of justice is Dave Roberts, the retired detective who originally worked to put Harwell away. But Roberts has a plan, and he's determined to succeed where the justice system failed to make things right for the victims' friends and families and prevent more atrocities down the line.
With the help of his friend Soupy, a former Marine, the detective finds himself skirting the very edges of the law, using every resource at his disposal to ensure Harwell is finally brought to justice. Along the way, he'll risk his life, his marriage, and everything he holds dear in the name of putting the sinister felon back where he belongs.
A fictional tale shedding light on some of the true injustices of the legal system, Unmitigated Justice is a dark and captivating criminal thriller written by a real-life veteran of law enforcement.
