About the Book

As you read The Unholy Triad, the other side of the secret

world of military weapons development will astonish you. The top secret military aircraft that have been flying for years, unknown to the unsuspecting citizens below, didn't happen by chance, accident or luck. They are the result of intriguing military and political arrangements together with amazing industry manipulations of the congress of the United States.

The hero of the drive to develop one such series of flying weapons, Colonel Andy Rampart, returns from a Viet Nam prison of war to Winston Parnel Air Force base in southeastern Ohio, to take over the newly establish " black programs office."

His four year battle with industry duplicity, congressional

conniving and marital failure succeeds only by the sheer force of his personality and determination to see the top secret weapons fly.

Derk Digule, a fellow officer who becomes a civilian executive of an aircraft firm, is the colonel's primary antagonist. New York Senator Salvatore Maggio and Vincent Siminelli, Chief Executive Officer of Southrun Aircraft Corporation on Long Island, become his nemesis during weapon systems development.

The Central Intelligence Agency's Director of Overt Operations, Ted Plantin becomes an unwitting player in the plot to assassinate Colonel Rampart.

The cause of crashes of the ultra secret aircraft, code named Second Cousin, are solved by Rampart and his investigative team. The Southrun Aviation CEO becomes the target for technical deceit during fabrication of Second Cousin

After the death of his estranged wife, Colonel Rampart is enchanted by a younger female officer who becomes a key to his success in analyzing the technical faults at the contractor's plant.

After an unsuccessful attempt on Rampart's life, William Fagella, the CIA's Inspector General, is unmasked as the chief conspirator. Derk Digule continues his old relationship with Senator Maggio's wife that is contributory to the senator's death.

Andy rampart is promoted ultimately to Brigadier General, and ultimately sees the systems he started become reality. Major Shirley Blainec becomes engaged to the new major general and life starts anew for the Rampart family.
