The contents of the book 'Understanding the Sermon on the Mount' was at first a series within the e-mail letters that were sent out monthly over a period of eight years, and was later extracted to form the book. That evening Henry felt the Lord was telling him to write an article, that needed to be posted in a blog, every morning. I cannot take any more credit for my works than Jesus did when He said: 'I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does' (John 5:19 NIV)). "Jesus did say in John 15:5 (NIV): 'I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.' So how can I take any credit? Jesus' works spoke for themselves though: 'When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law' (Mathew 7:28-29) Hopefully the revelations in this book, which the Lord spoke through me, would have a similar effect.
