An Unbreakable Spirit
An unbreakable spirit is the amazing true story of a young boy who learned how to utilise the power of his mind to overcome abuse and went on to become one of the world's most inspirational speakers and writers in the world today.
Mark didn't just overcome abuse he transcended it and unlocked many of the minds secrets allowing him to achieve a balanced and successful life when so many young people were turning to destructive behaviours under similar circumstances.
Marks story will take you on an emotional roller coaster as he goes from a frightened young boy to a sought-after speaker. As you accompany him on his journey you will learn how he discovered the secret to overcoming procrastination whilst competing in a dirt bike race at just twelve years of age. How his perception allowed him to overcome his circumstances and how he developed a unique understanding as to why what we believe and accept as the truth becomes a driving force in our life.
Mark views his childhood challenges as a gift as it sent him on a journey of self-discovery that gave him the tools and understanding to defeat cancer after being misdiagnosed twice leaving him with less than a 20% chance of survival.
His story is both inspirational and uplifting, join him as he takes you on a journey that will leave you breathless and full of hope in the knowledge that it's never been about what happens to you, its about what you decide to do about it!

This is one of the most heart warming and inspirational things I have ever read! Natasja last
I've attended many of Mark's talks and heard parts of this story many times seeing the entire story written in this book put the whole thing in a new light.
There are so many insights in this book that I can't mention them all here I suggest that this book is one that you should read several times. It's one of those books that should be read with a highlighter pen in hand.
But there's also a deeper message here.
And that message, I believe comes in two parts.
Firstly, a negative past isn't necessarily a prescription for a negative future.
I'm certain the strength he gained in surviving his early years gave him the ability to overcome his illness later in life. After all, the strongest steel is forged in the hottest fire.
Secondly, and in my sincere opinion what this book is really about, is the importance of strong belief and vision.
The American philosopher William James said
"Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact"
And I for one am extremely grateful that the world still has Mark Baker in it.
