Unbound Magnificence is no "little book of poetry." Consisting of nearly three hundred easy-to-read poems, this outstanding collection of modern American poetry rejuvenates you through startlingly vivid experiences of nature.
In the vein of Robert Frost, Sheperd's poems focus on the beauty of nature's ordinary moments, from simple encounters with wild animals to reflections on a rainy evening.
V. W. Sheperd paints amazing pictures with the color of words. Watch "Ducks at Whisper Marsh," listen to "The Wind Play a Song," spend a "Morning on the River," and find "Where Daydreams Dwell." All of this and more awaits you.
About the Author:
V. W. Sheperd is a self-taught poet who was born and raised in Oregon, which is also where he attended college and earned his bachelor's degree in business. He has held a variety of jobs, working as a janitor, waiter, credit reporter, real estate agent, and truck driver. His desire to reconnect contemporary readers to the often-disregarded art form of poetry led him to publish his first collection of poems, Unbound Magnificence.
Sheperd is also the author of Over and Over the Road, A Truck Driver's Stories. With seventy-eight different tales of terrible weather, terrifying near accidents, fascinating people, and philosophical observations, readers will gain a glimpse of the unpredictable-and oddly beautiful-life out on the open road.
Sheperd lives in Arizona, where he is currently working on two novels.
