Wir alle haben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass das Hören eines bestimmten Musikstückes uns sehr ergreifen kann und uns im Tiefesten unserer Seele anzurühren vermag. Die Nähe der Musik zu seelischen Prozessen ist allgemein vertraut. Es heißt, Musik sei ein Spiegel der Seele oder auch Musik sei Nahrung für die Seele. Da es insbesonders die unbewusste Psyche ist, die durch Musik in Schwingungen versetzt wird, ist die Erforschung des Musikerlebens im Grunde eine genuin psychoanalytische Aufgabe, die bislang allerdings nur sehr zaghaft in Angriff genommen wurde. Musik ist ein verbal nur schwer fassbares Phänomen und man mag geneigt sein, anzunehmen, dass viele Forscher sich bislang von Äußerungen haben entmutigen lassen, in denen die Meinung vertreten wird, dass Sprache... nie und nirgends das tiefste Innere der Musik nach außen kehren kann (Nietzsche) oder dass Musik in Schichten derartiger archaischer Intimität durchdringt, dass jeder Versuch des Übersetzens in eine rationale Syntax fehlschlagen muss (Eissler). Im vorliegenden Buch wird der Versuch unternommen, den Fragen nach dem Unbewussten in der Musik intensiver auf den Grund zu gehen. Der Sammelband enthält alle Vorträge des 1. Coesfelder Symposiums Musik und Psyche, das im Jahre 2001 ins Leben gerufen wurde und in den folgenden Jahren fortgesetzt wird. Die vorliegenden Beiträge geben einen Einblick in die Denkwerkstatt der Autoren. Dabei wurde im Rahmen dieses Symposiums in einem Gruppenassoziationsexperiment auch ein erstes Forschungsprojekt zum Musikerleben in Angriff genommen, dessen Ergebnisse in diesem Band dargestellt sind.
About the Author: Bernd Oberhoff ist Privatdozent für Soziale Therapie an der Universität Kassel, Gruppenanalytiker (DAGG), Supervisor (DGSv), Fortbildungsdozent für Aus- und Fortbildung von Supervisoren, Fachbereichsleiter Weiterbildung Musik an der Kolping-Bildungsstätte Coesfeld sowie in freier Praxis in Münster tätig. Er ist Gründer und wissenschaftlicher Leiter des seit 2001 jährlich stattfindenden Coesfelder Symposium Musik & Psyche sowie Mitherausgeber von Fachzeitschriften: Supervision (1983-1987) und Freie Assoziation (1998-2006). Oberhoff war außerdem viele Jahre als Kammerchorleiter und Dirigent des Collegium Vocale Dortmund (Preisträger) tätig. Buch-Veröffentlichungen in den Bereichen Supervision und Musikpsychoanalyse u.a. im Daedalus-Verlag, Münster Christoph Willibald Glucks präödipale Welt. Eine musikalisch-psychoanalytische Studie (1999) und Übertragung und Gegenübertragung in der Supervision (2000).
