About the Author: Vaig néixer a Andorra la Vella (1951). Sóc enginyer industrial i escriptor. Visc a 1400 metres d'altura, en el bell mig del bosc, des d'on escric. He escrit contes infantils, novel-la i assaig. Destaquen, per damunt de tot les meves novel-les històriques. En novel-la negra he escrit obres om "El rapte, el mort i el Marsellès," Premi Sèrie Negra de l'any 2000, o "Una vida en joc," dedicada al Casino de La Rabassada. En relat d'anticipació disposo d'obres com "Un vot per l'esperança que va merèixer el títol d'Obra Seleccionada al I Premi de Novel-la Plaza $ Janés al 1985, o la tan celebrada "L'informe Phaeton" que ha merescut l'aplaudiment unànim del públic, que diu que la meva obra més impressionant. I en ficció històrica disposo de títols tan conegut com per exemple: "El mestre de Kheops," Premi Néstor Luján de Novel-la històrica 1998, "L'anell d'Àtila," Premi Fiter i Rossell 1999, "El ulls d'Anníbal," Premi Carlemany 2002, "La Gran Concubina d'Egipte," Premi Néstor Luján de Novel-la Històrica 2005, la trilogia dedicada a Jaume I el Conqueridor formada per "El punyal del sarraí," "La reina hongaresa" i "Parleu o mateu-me," o la trilogia dedicada a Alí Bei formaa per "Maleït català!," "Maleït musulmà!" i "Maleït cristià!," o la darrera novel-la "Obre els ulls i desperta." M'agrada molt barrejar amb subtilesa la realitat, la ficció i el misteri, que sempre embolcallo amb sentiments, vertader motor de la vida. Tinc obres publicades en diversos idiomes: català, castellà, anglès, francès, grec, portuguès, eslovac, txec... Se'm considera el revitalizador de la novel-la històrica en llengua catalana i me'n sento molt orgullós per això.
