"Un destino Incierto" es la historia de una mujer a quien el autor da el nombre de "La niña de los ojos de oro" un apelativo con el que se le conoce en su pueblo natal dado por uno de esos piropeadores que abundan en la región oriental de cuba, gracias a la belleza de sus ojos.La trama, el trozo de su historia que se narra aquí tiene como telón de fondo, el castrocomunismo que cual plaga bíblica cayera sobre Cuba el primero de enero de mil novecientos cincuenta y nueve y perpetuara en el poder para desgracia de la tierra que lo viera nacer, al monstruo de Birán. Tras dos décadas de gestión comunista, el pueblo hambreado, reprimido y perseguido, comienza a dar muestras de inconformidad y sabotajes y manifestaciones anticomunistas comienzan a producirse a lo largo del país, la caldera nacional ha comenzado a ganar presión y en la capital se produce un hecho que desencadena el mayor éxodo del que se tenga noticias en Cuba; ¿el hecho? La irrupción de un ómnibus en la embajada peruana, en la capital; cuando el monstruo de Birán, ahogado de ira y frustración grita desde la tribuna "Que se vaya la escoria" abre el puerto del Mariel, se produce la huida en masa de los cubanos que ponen en evidencia internacional "el paraíso comunista de los castros"En este contexto, en esos días convulso se ve, "la niña de los ojos de oro" obligada a tomar la más terrible de las decisiones, dejar atrás la hija que la ha traicionado, víctima del adoctrinamiento comunista que planeó tomarla como ejemplo de revolucionaria y así tratar de contener lo incontenible, el rechazo del pueblo cubano al sistema comunista impuesto por los castros de Birán.Con las consecuencias de esta decisión llega a tierra de libertad, literalmente destruida física y espiritualmente, el dolor, las humillaciones sufridas a lo largo del terrible camino que recorrieran hasta el puerto del Mariel y su posterior arribo a los cayos de la Florida, han minado a la mujer hasta casi aniquilar la fuerza y entereza que siempre la acompañaran. En la nueva tierra, se ve arrastrada en una vorágine en la que pierde el norte, la negra ola la proyecta hacia el cielo y al final la hunde en el abismo más insondable. A lo largo de todo este escabroso y terrible camino, ha mantenido una idea fija, recuperar la hija perdida. De este detalle, de sus esfuerzos en pos de este objetivo, de sus esperanzas trata, esta narración.Es una historia inacabada, pues a pesar que desde hace muchos años la hija abandonó el país de los castros, que luego de seducirla y utilizarla fue abandonada a un lado del camino, esta, resentida y agraviada por hechos ocurridos antes y después de su llegada a tierra de libertad, continúa alejada de la mujer a quien abandonara siendo una adolescente y la madre continúa esperando que los hados se apiaden de ella y su hija regrese a sus brazos.
