Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Mathematik, Note: 1,3, Universität Bielefeld, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit über ein Studienprojekt während des Praxissemesters im Fach Mathematik wird der Frage nachgegangen, was für eine Vorstellung die Kinder einer vierten Klasse einer Grundschule über die Null haben. Zunächst wird der theoretische Hintergrund näher beleuchtet. Es wird ein Überblick über die Entstehung und den Gebrauch der Null im Alltag gegeben und die mathematische Bedeutung und das Rechnen mit der Null dargestellt. Außerdem beinhaltet diese Arbeit eine Betrachtung des Umgangs von Kindern mit der Null und Konsequenzen für den Unterricht. Im Anschluss an den theoretischen Literaturteil folgt der praktische Forschungsteil der Hausarbeit, um herauszufinden welche Vorstellungen die Kinder einer vierten Klasse mit der Null verbinden und wie sie mit ihr rechnen. Hierzu wird ein Arbeitsblatt mit Aufgaben mit der Null und ohne die Null erstellt. Die Kinder sollen dieses Arbeitsblatt im ersten Schritt eigenständig bearbeiten und Lösungen zu den Aufgaben finden. Im Anschluss sollen sie die Aufgaben nach der Schwierigkeit bewerten und danach in Kleingruppen über ihre Ergebnisse sprechen und Erklärungen für die Lösungen und den Schwierigkeitsgrad der Aufgaben finden. In einer abschließenden Plenumsdiskussion sollen sie sich über die Null und ihre Bedeutung austauschen. Die Ergebnisse dieses Ablaufs werden in dieser Hausarbeit zunächst durch die Analyse der Arbeitsblätter festgehalten. Im weiteren Verlauf werden die Ergebnisse der Plenumsdiskussion wiedergegeben. Diese wurden zuvor durch kurze Notizen und Stichpunkte festgehalten.
