Title- The Umbra
In "The Umbra," poetry and fiction merge together to pour out emotions from the
ink. It discusses modern-age love by being set up in an old theme. The main
characters in the story are Zayesh, Lia, and Sheldon, around whom the story revolves.
Lia is Sheldon's wife, and they're living a happy married life but all of a sudden,
one day, Sheldon received a letter in English language which left him flabbergasted.
Why? The reason was that Lia could neither speak nor write in English. The departure
of Lia In such a way disheartened Sheldon and unknowingly opened the darkest
pages of his life. A lot about him was discovered through that way. Later on, it stays as
a mystery: why did Lia leave Sheldon? Could Sheldon meet her again? Was the reason
for leaving him because of her past traumas? Who is actually Lia, and does she exist
today? If yes, then where? If not, then how did Isha get that letter signed by Lia?
The book reveals all the answers to questions arising in the mind.
