Surnommé par de nombreux experts la guerre la plus stupide du monde, le conflit ukrainien est un conflit que presque personne n'avait prévu en 2010. Cependant, il arrive déjà à une décennie. Dans ce conflit dans une Ukraine également divisée, la stratégie de la corde raide des acteurs locaux du pays, de l'Occident qui veut entraîner l'Ukraine dans son orbite et de la Russie qui craint de perdre l'Ukraine et sa sécurité dans le processus, est la norme. Dans le même temps, le monde regarde d'une manière apparemment impuissante alors que l'Ukraine se déchire dans les coutures.

La plupart des gouvernements occidentaux accusent la Russie d'être à l'origine de ce conflit, citant la Crimée et le Donbass, qu'ils accusent la Russie d'envahir, même si la population de la plupart des pays occidentaux est divisée en ce qui concerne la partie qui a causé le conflit et a commencé la guerre en premier lieu.

La Russie, quant à elle, blâme l'Occident pour avoir déclenché le conflit en ce sens que:

  • Il accuse les gouvernements occidentaux de se ranger ouvertement du côté de l'opposition au cours de leurs manifestations de trois mois à Maïdan contre le président ukrainien démocratiquement élu Viktor Ianoukovitch en raison de sa décision de suspendre la signature d'un accord d'association avec l'UE en raison de ses doutes sur les propositions en tant qu'accord global.
  • Il pense que l'Occident est revenu sur un accord que les gouvernements occidentaux ont aidé à négocier entre Ianoukovitch et l'opposition qui aurait réalisé une transition en douceur grâce à un gouvernement d'union et à la tenue d'élections anticipées.
  • La Russie est convaincue que l'Occident a approuvé le coup d'État qui a chassé Ianoukovitch du pouvoir.
  • Il reproche au nouveau régime de Kiev de ne pas avoir dialogué avec ceux qui se sont opposés à l'éviction de Ianoukovitch, principalement des personnes de sa base de soutien dans le Donbass et en Crimée.
  • La Russie tient les nouvelles autorités de Kiev responsables de l'envoi de l'armée pour écraser cette manifestation, qui s'est transformée en résistance armée, d'où le conflit d'aujourd'hui.

Apparemment, ce bras de fer entre l'Occident et la Russie est décrit par de nombreux membres de l'establishment politique et des grands médias occidentaux comme la faute du président russe Vladimir Poutine, qui a été qualifié de réanimateur de l'URSS, de voyou, un autre Hitler, un tyran, un communiste, un homophobe, etc. Pourtant, Poutine a une cote de popularité qui oscille constamment entre 65% et 85% en Russie, et il s'en sort bien même en Occident avec un cinquième des Américains qui le voient favorablement. Alors, que manque-t-il aux lecteurs ? Qu'est-ce qu'on ne nous dit pas; qu'est-ce qu'on nous fait penser; et quelle est la voie à suivre pour réaliser une Ukraine nouvelle et meilleure, et un monde meilleur et plus sûr pour l'humanité ?
