VERSION ORIGINAL Témoins de Jéhovah - Les missionnaires de Satan La secte des Témoins de Jéhovah, issue du groupe des Étudiants de la Bible fondé dans les années 1870 par le pasteur et homme d'affaires nord-américain Charles Taze Russell, se présente comme une formation apolitique et chrétienne. Implantée à Brooklyn, elle s'engage avec ferveur dans les premières revendications sionistes en 1880. Russell, qui entretient des liens étroits avec les Rockefeller, Rothschild, J.P. Morgan et Warburg, entreprend plusieurs voyages aux États-Unis et en Europe pour appeler la population juive à un retour vers la Terre promise. À ce titre, il est considéré comme un des chantres du sionisme. Autres temps, autres moeurs: en 1933, en Allemagne, Adolf Hitler est nommé chancelier. Sans renier ses premiers engagements, le mouvement occulte et anticlérical des "Témoins de Jéhovah" - appellation adoptée en 1931 - défend sans ambages l'idéologie de l'Allemagne nationale-socialiste. Le président Rutherford se plaît alors à exalter les thèses antisémites. Dans le cadre de l'occupation de la Russie par le IIIe Reich, Heinrich Himmler favorise les Témoins de Jéhovah dans le but de subvertir l'Église orthodoxe. Fin 1942, le chef de la SS émet l'instruction de les traiter avec les meilleurs égards dans les camps de concentration. En 1945, dès la fin de la guerre, la coopération indéfectible de la secte aux idéaux nationaux-socialistes n'empêche pas les États-Unis d'impliquer cette Société dans sa politique internationale. Il a débuté sa carrière comme rédacteur pigiste pour des revues espagnoles de politique et de religion. Ses publications lui ont valu une notoriété en Amérique latine et en Europe. Son livre The Hidden Power behind the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 lui a assuré un succès plus large et a attiré l'attention d'un public cosmopolite.
