Questo nono volume delle mie commedie contiene tre titoli: La Campana del Tempo, Saggio finale a Little Italy e Triangolo amoroso a Londra.La prima commedia, "La Campana del Tempo" è nata in lingua sarda, variante logudorese (e come tale è presente nell'Ottavo volume con altre due commedie in lingua sarda). Adesso, tradotta in lingua italiana, vede la luce in questo nono volume. La trama è la seguente: In una città della Sardegna centrale una misteriosa campana domina la popolazione con terrore. Ma un gruppo di giovani decide di ribellarsi. Così la campana viene distrutta e spezzata in mille pezzi. Tuttavia, i giovani rivoltosi hanno istituito un regime di polizia che risulta essere peggiore di quello precedente. Nel terzo anno, al posto della campana, è visibile un parco divertimenti che attira soprattutto i giovani. Ma non si dice che questo sia il miglior mondo che gli anziani sognavano al tempo della campana.Le altre due commedie sono nate in lingua inglese e sono state già pubblicate in lingua originale nel volume "Three English Dramas" ed anche singolarmente, sempre il lingua inglese(i titoli originali sono: "Final Essay in Little Verona" e "Genethliacon il London" ovvero "A triangle love in London" nella edizione singola).Adesso, tradotte in lingua italiana dallo stesso autore, vedono la luce in questo nono volume. Saggio finale a Little Italy è in realtà un libretto musicale che attende un bravo musicista, che componga le musiche delle diverse arie, per andare in scena. La sua trama è la seguente: Papa John Brook dirige una lavanderia a New York. Egli è regista e direttore di una scuola di teatro e i suoi studenti lavorano tutti nella lavanderia al mattino per poter frequentare al pomeriggio la scuola. Per il saggio finale Papa John Brook ha scritto un copione dal titolo "Saggio Finale a Little Italy" ma i suoi studenti pretendono di allestire West Side Story. Papa John Brook riuscirà a convincerli dopo aver avviato le prove del suo copione, dimostrando agli studenti due cose importanti: La prima è che nessun copione e nessuna storia nasce dal niente, ma deriva da altre storie; la secondo è che l'amore è la cosa più importante del mondo.La trama della commedia "Triangolo amoroso a Londra" è invece la seguente: Il giorno del compleanno di Max, Brenda e George, suoi amici del cuore, giacciono nel letto comune, fumando, dopo aver consumato l'amore a tre, uno scampolo di erba che Brenda ha avuto saggio di un'oncia che intende regalare a Max. I pusher giamaicani gliela consegneranno alle cinque del pomeriggio. Ma invece dei pusher giamaicani suonano alla porta tre poliziotti corrotti che hanno avuto una soffiata da un loro informatore. Ma i pusher hanno avuto un contrattempo quindi i tre poliziotti troveranno soltanto invitati puliti (un aspirante prete, un ragazzo ebreo, un iraniano scappato ai rigori della rivoluzione teocratica e alcune ragazze), alla festa di compleanno e molto alcool, legale, nella casa dei genitori di Max. Il dramma mostra la faccia più corrotta di una società borghese ormai allo sfascio.
