About the Book

There is a boy in one village whose name is Tunde; this boy was born by a traditional worshiper in a village called Ogide, this village was named after the name of the gods of the land. The parents of Tunde had no child, so they went to the gods of the land in search of a child, after many years of searching for a child, one day the mother of Tunde was pregnant of Tunde, the parents of Tunde and the family were very happy because they believe that the child will come and worship the gods of the land because they believe that Tunde is a product of the gods of the land. Nine months later Tunde was born, and they performed all the necessary sacrifice to the gods of the land.

Few years later Tunde is now Ten years old, so the parents of Tunde were waiting for the child to be up to 18years before they can send him to the priest of Ogide which is the gods of the land, but by Ten years of Tunde, the story has changed, this is because they observed that Tunde is no more interested in the worship of the gods of the land that brought him into the world but started praying to another God who they did not introduce to Tunde, this brought lots of problem to the entire family because they believe that the gods of land will come after them. few years later Tunde is now 18years, but instead of they preparing for Tunde to go and serve the gods of the land, Tunde is now found preaching all over the village and condemning the worship of the gods of the land. Few months later the priest of Ogide sent for the parents of Tunde, telling them to hold their son or the gods will deal with him and his so call new God. The parents of Tunde are now more afraid than before because of the trait of the priest of Ogide, because he was known to be a wicked man who do not pity people but sends the gods of the land to any one that offends him. One day while Tunde was preaching as usual, he saw the priest of Ogide coming his way, at first Tunde was panic but later summon courage to continue his preaching, stop that nonsense the priest of Ogide shouted at Tunde, what, Tunde replied, you mean you don't know that what you are saying is nonsense? The priest of Ogide replied angrily, do you want to see the wrath of Ogide fall on you? What wrath? And by the way, who is Ogide but a powerless Idol that have no power, Tunde replied angrily, be ready to face the wrath of Ogide, the priest tells Tunde, ok then, Tunde replied. This was the battle line of the priest of Ogide and Tunde in the village of Ogide, at mid night Tunde was sleeping when he had a strange sound that woke him up, what is happening Tunde asked his parents, we don't know they replied Tunde, suddenly their was laughter, and the priest of Ogide said to Tunde, are you now afraid, no Tunde replied the priest of Ogide and said, my God is alive and very strong, he is with me and I am not afraid of you and your powerless Idol, this words made the priest of Ogide to start invoking the power of Ogide, Tunde also started to pray both in tongues, the battle became very strong because they were all exercising their spiritual powers, suddenly the priest of Ogide started to roll because the fire of the holy Spirit have started tormenting him, few minutes later the priest of Ogide fell down and died, early in the mourning the news of the dead of the priest of Ogide was noised all over the village, this made many of the villagers to join Tunde and worship his God, who has the power to destroy the priest of Ogide.
