The election of Donald Trump as 45th President of the United States was a remarkable one. Not because of the permanent mud throwing from the side of the Democrats. That is election business as usual. But because elected was a man who obviously had no political experience. That may be the case. But what he has are his ideas on how the United States should look like and be governed. And that differs indeed greatly from what politicians think about the subject. More remarkable was that for the first time in the long history of relationship with the European countries, European politicians intervened in these elections by clearly expressing their preference for Mrs. Clinton. Unique was that during the election campaign many European politicians insulted Donald Trump with statements they never would have dared to express in his physical presence. With their statements, this Europeans insulted not only Donald Trump. They also insulted the people of the United States. Because it is the population that will choose their president and not a bunch of European politicians who have proved that the concept of democracy in Europe about as quickly evaporates these days as the inhabitants of Hiroshima during the nuclear attack in 1945. During his election campaign Donald Trump made many promises on how to make America great again. He also gave his vision on many subjects the European Union has to deal with. This vision and his ideas to make America great again are the cause for the brutal behavior of the European politicians because they realized that, would Donald Trump be elected, their parasitic behavior on account of the US taxpayer would find an end. All Trump's promises and ideas for the future of America were already described in a letter to President Bush in October 2001, included in this book. Many Americans will recognize the content of this letter as being their own thoughts on the subjects that Donald Trump has stated in his election campaign. To achieve the promised goals Donald Trump will have to fight against opponents, most of whom are in the camp of the Clinton Democrats. His main weapons for that fight are found in the US Constitution. Being a straightforward American must be a great feeling. May it be realized soon for every American again.
About the Author: Born in the time that the Netherlands had quite a lot of armed German tourists in uniform as visitors (1944) and a carefree childhood in Amsterdam. Then the port attracted and from 1960 to 1966 sailor in the merchant navy, maritime cabotage and tramp. I did not work on a ship to be a sailor, but was a sailor to see the world. Then drafted and served in the nuclear artillery (for the experts: 49th Division Field Artillery, Honest John missile). An encounter with a golden woman put an end to all future wanderlust and I joined the Royal Marechaussee, being the Military Police. In 1973 transferred to the Infantry Regiment Heutsz in the notorious 435th Infantry Security Company specialized in guarding US nuclear arms in Germany. Then an unusual career that brought me to the only military prison in the Netherlands (Instructor/guard), the Royal Military School, the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers in Europe, the Ace Mobile Force, the School Reserve Officers and NCO's for the infantry where I, inevitably, trained reserve officers and NCO´'s for the nuclear security companies, again SHAPE, where I had the highly interesting experience gained of participation in a war in which I never fired a shot and still played a role SACEUR mentioned prominently in a personal thank-you letter, some hanky-panky in the margin at 13 School Battalion, half a year in the Defense Crisis Control Center at MODNL where I learned that politicians are the lowest form of human life and lastly military exercise site supervisor in the garrisons Ede and Apeldoorn, where I learned that recreationists on the moors and in the woods in one day caused more pollution than practicing battalions in an entire year. In 1999, I hung my rifle in the willows and dedicated my life to that golden woman and writing books and stories.
