About the Book

After 22 years of sobriety in a spiritual 12 step program, Roxanna Carrothers experienced every mother's nightmare... her youngest son, 21 year old Frankie, had died in a tragic car accident. She found that the God she had known was not enough to help her handle the pain of losing a child. This led her to search every possible avenue of knowledge that would help her understand why God would let her son die. Through her incredible journey, she was able to reconcile her relationship with God and she was also able to experience a beautiful connection with her deceased son. This is the story of Roxanna Carrother's spiritual journey following young Frankie's death. Roxanna Carrother's quest for spiritual knowledge took her to a small village in Bosnia called Medjugorje. This is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the world. Each year more than 1 million people visit since the reputed apparitions began in 1981.Many Pilgrims who visit this spiritual place have reported visual phenomena including the sun spinning in the sky or changing color and also seeing figures such as hearts and crosses around the sun. She also traveled to the home of Raymond Moody where she spent three days with world renowned physic George Anderson. The messages she received at that time provided her a lifetime of peace. After a long journey that covered many miles and numerous beautiful experiences, Roxanna Carrothers found peace and a new, stronger relationship with God. Roxanna is certain that anyone can come through a tragedy with strength and a renewed spirit. "Although you will never be the same, you will once again be able to experience joy and lead a strong and purposeful life." This is a true story of hope.
About the Author: Author Roxanna Carrothers met and married her husband Robert in the small Michigan town of Owosso. They moved to Wisconsin and raised their five children there.
