About the Book

There are four books contained in the novel: 1. (I) ' The Floating Life of a Losing Cat ' 2. (II) ' The Vessel of Time ' 3. (III)' The Man Walking with the Sun at His Back' 4. (A Supplement) ' A Bible of Flaws ' The plot begins with an experiment with psychic motive force, conducted by a cat that is eager to communicate with humans. When the absurd experiment takes effect and the cat interacts with its human owner - an eccentric who is alienated from society, something happens and a series of legends is revealed ... Connected by a mysterious book named 'A Bible of Flaws ', the story spans three generations: Far back in the past, hundreds of years ago, an alien knight came out of the outfall of Elbe river, and was floating on the foggy North Sea; several decades ago, a pair of lovers were uprooted from their hometown; and at present, a contemporary human being who is immersed in the study of useless knowledge, while associating with the absurd cat and some odd, genuine species of muse --- together, they roam in the universe encompassed in a pretty state of pleasure, cultivating a perpetual human ' existence' of ' reality'. While all of the story comes out of 'flaws'... This work is composed by the configuration of 'Existence- Mind - World' constructed in accordance with a multidimensional universe originating from the author's concerns for the world, existence, and psychological activities. The novel expresses comprehension of the contemporary state of 'dwelling in the world, ' based on the three-part harmony of mutually responding, mutually resonating, and mutually generating within the above configuration.
