Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,3, Universität zu Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese vorliegende Arbeit soll den Blick auf die Aufnahme und Betreuung von psychisch belasteten und traumatisierten Flüchtlingskindern in Kindertageseinrichtungen richten und dabei die möglichen noch unbekannten Herausforderungen für die pädagogischen Fachkräfte sowie auch an das System Kindertagesstätte als Ganzes aufzeigen. Viele Millionen Menschen sind derzeit weltweit auf der Flucht. Sie fliehen aus ihrer Heimat, um in einem anderen Land Schutz vor Gewalt und Verfolgung zu finden. Laut der Weltjahresstatistik Global Trends der UN-Organisation befanden sich 2016 insgesamt 65,6 Millionen Menschen auf der Flucht. Hauptgründe für die stetig steigende Zahl der Fluchtbewegung stellen unter anderem Krieg, Menschenrechtsverletzungen, Verfolgung von Minderheiten, Umwelt- und Naturkatastrophen, sozioökonomische Ungleichheit, Massenarmut und Perspektivenlosigkeit dar. Nach Deutschland kamen im Jahr 2016 circa 750.000 Flüchtlinge. Davon waren rund 106.000 Flüchtlinge im Kindergartenalter. Die Flüchtlingskinder erleben nicht nur vor und während der Flucht psychisch und physisch herausfordernde Ereignisse, sondern stoßen in Deutschland auf die Anforderungen und Hindernisse der Migration. Doch auch Deutschland als Aufnahmeland hat eine besondere Verantwortung und eine gewisse Herausforderung gegenüber den Flüchtlingskindern. Es muss nicht nur für eine menschenwürdige Unterbringung und Versorgung aufkommen, sondern auch den Zugang zu frühkindlicher Bildung ermöglichen. Interkulturelle Pädagogik ist nicht neu. Doch in Verbindung mit einer Fluchterfahrung und der daraus resultierenden psychischen Belastung werden pädagogische Fachkräfte vor neuen Herausforderungen gestellt. Pädagogische Fachkräfte werden zu Wegbegleitern der traumatisierten Flüchtlingskinder auf dem Weg der Integration und dem Leben in einer neuen Normalität.
