About the Book

From Mesopotamia to Peru, that was the journey that a group of the children of Adam made. Over three hundred left their garden but only one hundred and thirty-two arrived in the mountains. Their trek, their battles, their lives, their rise and their eventual decline is the story told in this book. It is a fictional tale based on an actuality. Adventure and newness is the real quest of life and after all, law is life.
About the Author: The muses of the arts are sisters. When one is chosen she must be kept as the only love, the sisters do not take kindly to flirting. His first muse-love was music, but the playing of musical instruments did not sit well with mechanical work, heavy tools and driving trucks, so the affair began to weaken. The beautiful sister of the visual arts was next and oil paint and canvas became his passion. Soon sculpture, the 3D version of painting, entered his expression with carved steel and lost wax bronzes but she, that muse, left him. He is now in a close relationship with the muse of literature and writing has become his calling. Between wrecking buildings, driving trucks all over the Eastern half of the country and operating Caterpillars, the muse and he, flirted. Now the muse of literature is his love. As he read many different types of books from histories to the Fifth Epochal Revelation and his inspiration formed; he began to write. From his father, who was a musician and later a graphic artist, he received his hunger for art. From his life's experiences he drew the color of his stories, and from the Fifth Epochal Revelation he took his inspiration, especially the bit about the one hundred and thirty-two descendants of Adam. A long study of, and an affection for the F. E. R, has put him on a course which is his eternal career. Per aspera ad astra, to the stars, through hope and, as "hope is the sublimity of trust," he hopes that his story will entertain the readers and perhaps lead them to check out the F. E. R. He loves his wife who is the stabilizing influence in his life. He always says, without her he would be in jail or living somewhere under a bridge. He is devoted to his children, as they are the physical reward of life. He respects his garden and fruit trees as they provide him with bread for tomorrow. And, he is committed to art because it allows his mind to link the inputs of the material with the inspiration of the spiritual. He has lived his life in central New Jersey and in many ways it is the center of the world. All languages, cultures and races are to be found nearby. From ocean to mountain, from fields to forests, all of nature is within its boundaries, and New Jersey is the Garden State. Figs and tomatoes, peaches and potatoes grow well here and access to the Big Apple and the open ocean provide both culture and adventure. Again, he can only aspire that his stories will entertain and perhaps cause the reader to seek the stars.
