About the Book

Accept each moment. See each person as someone loved. Be nonjudgmental in thought and have no negativity in spirit. Do not allow your own beliefs (political or religious) to interfere with caring about others and being kind, though their beliefs may be different. Let go of the past and do not be obsessed with the future. Live fully in the present moment. These are some of the simple but powerful concepts that will free you to live a life, consistently full of peace and joy. As you embark on a life changing journey through this book, you'll come to realize tranquility instead of just talking about it. A challenging read for anyone unaccustomed to seeking answers outside their own belief system. Many Christians harbor a secret conflict. God is love, and a victorious Christian life with His love should bring joy and peace. But joy and peace are ephemeral concepts, easy to experience when times are good, but quick to vanish in the face of difficulties. If you live your life in Christ, shouldn't these feelings be less vulnerable to outside interference? A minister of thirty-five years, Jim Colley struggled with this apparent contradiction. He spoke often of joy and peace, but the victorious Christian life he preached eluded him more often than he cared to admit. When confronted with obstacles, peace was usually far from Jim's mind. While reading outside of his normal religious circle, a chance encounter with Eastern philosophy changed Colley's preconceptions and allowed him to fully experience a victorious Christian life. The surrendering of self so central to Eastern philosophy was, at its heart, reflected in the Christian practice of surrendering oneself to Christ. It was simply being seen through the eyes of a different culture. A remarkable, daring dialogue on peace, joy, and the willingness to live in Christ, Tomorrow Can Wait...Yesterday Is Past...Live Today! reminds readers God speaks to us in many ways, and a small shift in perception can mean the difference between misery and joy. About the Author: Jim Colley has spent the last forty years as a Christian. After earning a bachelor of arts degree in pastoral theology, Colley entered the ministry, and has been serving for thirty-five years. Colley began his ministry after marrying his high school sweetheart, and together they raised four daughters. They have three beautiful grandchildren and currently live in Maine. After a deep transformation took place in his life, the change was so radical that one of his daughters observed the joy and peace that radiated from his life, and made the comment that he wasn't even the same dad that she has known.
