They did not discuss who could do this team leader clearly For example, Aran suggested he could attempt to do this A-team leader because he was a management consultant in one large firm and his age was 52 year older than other four members, but the four members who could not agree his suggestion because they also had their expertise educational background and working experience. It should cause diversity conflict between of them. So, this group could not continue to discuss successfully.What dimensions of diversity were responsible for the conflict?Diversity is often defined in terms of particular dimensions, most commonly gender, race, and ethnicity, Other important dimensions also exist. These include age, social class, sexual orientation, personality, functional experience ( e.g., finance, marketing, accounting), and geographical background. Visible attributable ( e.g. race, gender, ethnicity), attributes directly related to job performance (e.g. education and functional experience), and rare attributes are the most likely to be seen as important. Workplace diversity could be a valuable asset for a organizational growth and development, e.g. age discrimination, not equal employment opportunity.
