God's people are to be alert, watchful, and ready for Christ's return. Many of the warning signs Jesus describes before His return are occurring with increasing frequency and intensity. Are we ready?
Jesus came to preach the good news of the kingdom of God and heal the sick. He told the Twelve, as well as His disciples today to do the same and pray, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
Will He find us living our lives according to His Word and fulfilling His purposes when He comes for us? Are we like the wise or the foolish virgins in Matthew 25? Will we cry out, "Lord, Lord," only to hear Jesus reply, "I don't know you"? Will we go to be with Him or be left behind when the door shuts? Are we His sheep who follow Him and live according to His Word to go on to eternal life, or are we goats who will go on to eternal punishment?
We are to have faith to persevere and endure whatever trials and shaking may occur in our lives. We are to be ready for His return, and may He consider us His elect and ready for the rapture.
What is the kingdom of God, and how do we prepare for the rapture and His return? We are to keep watch and be prepared before it is too late. With the timing of His return and especially the rapture soon approaching, may each reader come to know of our Heavenly Father's amazing love for you. May you know His will and Word and follow Him fully. May your name be written in the Lamb's book of life to live with Him eternally where there is no more death, mourning, crying, nor pain but only love, joy, and peace.
Thy Kingdom Come will help you to stand firm on the solid rock of Jesus Christ and live a life prepared for our soon coming King. At the end is a discussion guide to help you grow together and be prepared with your family, friends, or small group.
