About the Three Good Things Gratitude Journal
This workbook is based on the Three Good Things exercise, whereby every day, you list three pleasant things - big or small - that have happened to you, along with WHY there were good. The exercise works by helping you to focus on the worthwhile things in your life that you normally take for granted, rather than getting stuck in the problems.

The Three Good Things exercise came out of research by Dr Martin Seligman, founder of the Positive Psychology movement. His study found that even mildly depressed people began to feel better after seven days' journalling.

As a psychotherapist, over the years, Tina found that many of her clients benefitted from the Three Good Things exercise. She wrote this workbook so a wider audience could use these simple, straightforward principles to start to improve their mood and enjoy increased wellbeing. The journal contains six months' worth of diary pages, as people tend to find the exercise so uplifting that they incorporate it into their daily routine. This diary explains in detail how to write a gratitude journal and get the most from it.
