Everyone thinks about relationships, love, life's crazy twists and turns, and even death. But few people can express their deepest feelings on tough-to-handle topics. Kevin Pierre tackles all that and more in this relatable memoir.
His essays started out as journal entries-a way for Kevin to analyze his experiences and thoughts. After the death of his sister in early 2016, he decided to publish his entries as a book. His older sister always encouraged him to work hard and stick to his guns. This is his way of doing just that.
In these eye-opening essays, Kevin weighs in on his share of difficulties: dealing with death, struggling with low self-esteem, and being judged by the color of his skin. He also addresses hilarious everyday situations, such as whether to respond to text messages and how to stay on a woman's good side. Ultimately, he focuses on what's important in life: forming friendships, finding balance, and searching for the good in others and ourselves.
Everyone has a voice and opinions worth sharing, and Kevin's words will entertain you, challenge you, and encourage you to speak your mind.
