It is difficult for the family to migrate since they are well set in Thailand. In Mumbai, children are admitted in one of the pinnacle schools. The girl, Rachel who is nearly seventeen years old is happy to go person and finds her new school amazing. Here she gets acquainted with a student who is a son of a rich and a famous personality. It is a story full of a life, a love, a hate and a revenge.........and a hard journey through the thorns of life and achievements....it is nothing but "A THORNY RIDE".........and a success. The language used is simple. The plot goes smoothly and shows how young minds fall in love easily and analyze even a small things and relations. At one moment the life takes turn and everything changes. This book narrates how society too is responsible to traumatize the victims instead of helping them. We in society are also equally responsible since we look at those victims like criminals. It is one of the least reported crimes due to this. In the cases of rapes victim becomes the accused wherein she has to prove her innocence, reputation, mental stability, and many more things. It not only tarnishes victim but, make her senile. She goes through a life bugging trauma which never ends. She gets humiliated and emotionally harassed. In those grisly times even one good friend can change her life. Her "Thorny Ride" could turn in to a pleasurable life. In this story, one more victim who came forward and complaint to the police for the same sexual assault was in turmoil and had suffered financially and emotionally.
