Deliverance is perhaps the most dangerous of the Christian Ministries because it involves rescuing captives from a very powerful, experienced and crafty spiritual being called Satan, Devil or the Adversary. He is a real spiritual strong man from whom you cannot take anything unless you overpower him through Divine help (Mt.12:29).
He has a cohort of varying ranks of evil spirits that police the earth (Eph. 6: 12) and perpetrate all kinds of evils and wickedness. But let us note that God in His infinite wisdom is a very highly disciplined Potentate Who respects covenants, vows, curses, etc. He does not simply bulldoze issues: because He is Almighty; He keeps His Own Laws unlike Satan who is a liar. Simply put, 'Lazarus who was called to life from a four-day decaying corpse must be loosed by his relatives from the grave clothes to enjoy normal life'!
