Musically written with vulnerability and raw honesty, There's So Much More takes the reader through Katie Grace's struggles with trauma, spirituality, and recovery. This book contains the author's story followed by a collection of poems. Although this book touches on difficult topics, it ends on a positive note. Katie Grace understands her story is a platform to help others.
...
Katie Grace is truly poetic with her words, turning her pain into purpose through this work. As a trauma survivor myself, her story empowered me to continue my spiritual path. I've always been drawn to the raw emotion of poetry, philosophy, and how they tie into the human experience as a meat bag on this giant planet floating in the universe--- this book addresses these aspects perfectly.
As a leader in brain health and neuroscience, I can attest that we so often push away our trauma and/or we cope by becoming the victim, the perpetrator, or the rescuer. Katie embraces the natural trauma sequence with grace, self-compassion, and triumph.
As a designer and family life coach, I deeply appreciate her transparency with her family dynamics and how they've impacted her relationships, especially with romance and substances. We need to hear more stories like this to truly grasp improvement as a human, soul, family, and child of God.
With a full and grateful heart,
