There is A Rock is a True Life Story of Seeking Something More. Something to Live For! It is written by the person that lived it; a person that grew up in intercity Saint Louis, Missouri. Born 9/11 1943, Setting the stage for a life with major change in The Greatest Nation in the World. A Nation and World in turmoil and change, things about to happen that had been written down and foretold thousands of years in advance.
The author had no idea of what would lie ahead. However as a child he knew there had to be something more than what he could see in life. However not having Christian parents to help point the way, it took twenty five years of seeking until he found something more.That something more was found in the Christian Bible and a drawing by God to seek and learn. Not knowing better started reading at the begining. Readibg the whole Bible he was drawn back to read it again and again. However, it was not enough, very interesting but no real connection.
It did help develope a heart to help others and try to do right, but life was very busy. Blessed, with a good mind and a lot of talents he just took life day by day. Pushing to be successful in wordly ways, had a job teaching music at a music studio when I was thirteen years of age. He was accepted at Washington University after only three years of high school. He even owned a business while still a teenager. He got married and had two children before he found what he had been seeking.
His wife a stay at home mom; had met neighbors, nice friendly people. The husband kept inviting him to come over, he worked hard long hours, trying to run a buisness and provide for his family, just didn't have time to sit around socializing.
The catch was they had a Wednesday night youth meeting. Thrughtout his life, having money but living in intercity Saint Louis he saw poverty all around. Most of his friends had little, so he shared with them. Helping others especially youth had just become a part of his life. After quite a while he was drawn to come to one of the youth meetings. God made the connection and he found what he had been seeking over twenty-five years of his life.
God open the doors, the Holy Spirit came in and with in a few months the youth meetings were at the authors house and had grown to about one hundred. God blessed the youth they got on fire and miricales started happening. The enemy attacked a number of times, there were hardships and disapointments. But throught it all the author's Faith and Commitment continued to grow.
There is one sure thing that you should see in thisTrue Story; The Bible is The Word of God. Everything it says is True, God in Alive, Jesus is Alive, His Word is True and with Faith All Things are Possible.
The author has personally been healed many times, including a gun shot wound, a compound fracture of the large bone in the lower right leg and total kidney failure. All of these injuries healed without medical treatment and all within three days, Seen storms controlled, food multiplied and so much more. Including the most important, lives changed.
