"I absolutely adored this novel. It dealt with racism and abusive partners (TW for that), but it was written so poetically and with a secret society kinda vibes that I deeply fell into it. The racism and abusive partner is not the main focus but is apart of the novel and makes it understandable as to why the main character falls into the secret society, to get away from her life, even for small moments."
