About the Book

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy through the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus. Miscarriage or spontaneous abortion is an abortion that occurs without intervention and occurs in approximately 30% to 40% of pregnancies. When intentional steps are taken to end a pregnancy, it is referred to as an induced abortion or, less commonly, an induced miscarriage. The unmodified term abortion generally refers to an induced abortion.

Abortion is one of the safest medical procedures when performed properly, but unsafe abortion is a major cause of maternal death, particularly in the developing world, whereas making safe abortion legal and accessible reduces maternal deaths. It is safer than childbirth, which has a 14 times higher risk of death in the United States.

A Texas law banning most abortions after about six weeks of pregnancy took effect 1st September 2021, despite the 1973 Supreme Court ruling that established a constitutional right to process, making the state the most restrictive in the country in terms of access to abortion services. Other states have passed similar laws, but these measures face legal challenges. Texas law is the first to be implemented, after the Supreme Court failed to act on a blocking request.

However, due to the way the law has been drafted, it can be difficult to challenge in court, representing a dramatic change in the battle over abortion rights and invites imitation by others. jurisdictions seeking to impede access to abortion.

TEXAS ABORTION LAW is a BOOK written by Isaac Parker that discusses on What does the Texas abortion law say, How do Americans feel about abortion rights, Where do things stand right now in Texas for abortion providers and women seeking abortions, What did the Supreme Court do to keep the law in place and MANY MORE!!!!!

TEXAS ABORTION LAW is an interesting, educative, easy to comprehend, simple, well-written and informative book for all Women in Texas.
