About the Book

Andorin quickly finds himself drawn into a web of lies. Promoted for his involvement in a war on foreign soil, he becomes a spy for the High Authority - the highest-ranking Government official. His daughter, Stranaya, is killed before his eyes, but the evidence trail found during the subsequent investigation suggests that she was kidnapped rather than killed. Determined to find and rescue her, he is now entrenched in lies as he enters the conflict between the legitimate government and unknown forces that undermine it at every turn. Knowing of his loyalty to the High Authority, the enemy faction makes him an offer he cannot refuse: suppress crucial information, or his family dies. Andorin has few choices; he secures his family's protection but notices something else-something out of place. How can he find Stranaya? How can he protect his family? How can he escape the web of lies? Dr. Fillingraph, Stranaya's assigned doctor, is behind Stranaya's abduction. She is a willing participant to her abduction, or is it her departure? A wake of destruction covers heinous events-Stranaya's abduction orchestrated by Dr. Fillingraph. He needs Stranaya, the planet needs Stranaya, but very few know the truth of why she is needed. Dr. Fillingraph is a geneticist that has perfected a method to create the most advanced space ships available. The process is horrific by anyone's standards. He has lured her by promises of space travel, and life beyond any normal life span. Will he fulfill this promise, or is it just a means to an end? Stranaya's genetic modification started from a very early age. She develops heightened mental abilities, the goal of genetic manipulation by Dr. Fillingraph. She is the only candidate that survived these specific modification protocols. She is destined to become the savior of their race. She knew what was going to happen, but was unprepared for the physical changes. Can she cope with the reality of the situation? Freed from gravity her mental abilities explode and develop rapidly. Her alter ego emerges as a separate entity that can only interact with people while Stranaya is unconscious and she wields her new powers with sometimes frightening results. In this new life, she chose Sidera as her new name. However, who is actually in control Stranaya or Sidera? What are they willing to do to ensure her realization of space travel? Andorin learns that what he thinks he knows is a lie. Everything is a lie, it seems. Even the highest-ranking military leaders are kept in the dark to cover something up. Everyone is being lied to. However, what does that mean? Who is involved? How can the entire planet operate on lies? How can this happen? Who are we? These are all questions that emerge, but prove difficult to find answers.
