About the Author: Ted Katz has created programs in arts education for The National Endowment for the Arts, The Smithsonian Institution, The Carnegie Corporation, and the Ford Foundation. He holds a doctorate from Harvard University.
After serving as Chief of the Division of Education at The Philadelphia Museum of Art for ten years, Katz decided to pursue painting full time. His work has been featured in publications such as Newsweek, the New York Times, and Art in America.
Katz's paintings have been widely shown, including exhibitions at Tufts University, Harvard University, Villanova University, The Demuth Foundation, John F. Kennedy Center, Moore College of Art, The William Penn Memorial Museum, and the New England Foundation for the Arts.
