Pokud chcete zkombinovat své zdroje bílkovin s rostlinnými zdroji, nehledejte nic jiného nez Tofu jako snadno uvařitelnou veganskou nebo vegetariánskou variantu. Tofu je flexibilní, na vaření. Je to proto, ze přichází v různých texturách (v závislosti na tom, kolik vody je vylisováno) a je docela nevýrazné. Vzhledem k tomu, ze je relativně bez chuti, přijímá jiné chutě dobře, aniz by jim konkuroval.

Tofu, také známý jako fazolový tvaroh, je jídlo připravené koagulací sójového mléka a následným lisováním výsledných tvarohů do pevných bílých bloků různé měkkosti; můze být hedvábná, měkká, pevná, extra pevná nebo super pevná. Kromě těchto sirokých kategorií existuje mnoho druhů tofu. Má jemnou chuť, takze se dá pouzít do slaných i sladkých jídel.

Často se koření nebo marinuje, aby vyhovovalo pokrmu a jeho chutím, a díky své houbovité struktuře dobře absorbuje chutě. Pokud jste s tím jestě nikdy nepracovali, vaření tofu můze být skličující. Ale jakmile se o tom trochu naučíte, uz nemůze být jednodussí tofu dobře připravit! Níze najdete ty nejchutnějsí a nejjednodussí recepty, které můzete vařit jako profesionál!

Jednoduché tipy na vaření tofu:

  • Ujistěte se, ze jste vybrali správnou texturu. V obchodech s potravinami se pohybuje od hedvábného po pevný a extra pevný. Měkké hedvábné tofu by bylo mou volbou pro míchání do dezertů nebo krájení do miso polévky, ale pokud ho podáváte jako hlavní jídlo nebo ho doplňujete do misek, budete potřebovat extra tuhé. Má vydatnějsí, hutnějsí texturu a méně vody nez jiné druhy tofu. Poznámka: Raději kupuji bio tofu vyrobené bez geneticky modifikovaných sójových bobů.
  • Stiskněte to. Tofu obsahuje hodně vody a větsinu z ní budete chtít vymáčknout, zvlástě pokud ho pečete, grilujete nebo smazíte. Lisy na tofu jsou k dispozici v obchodech, ale mít je není nutné. Můzete pouzít hromádku knih, nebo prostě dělat to, co já, a rukama to lehce přimáčknout v kuchyňské utěrce nebo papírových utěrkách. (Jen se ujistěte, ze netlačíte přílis silně, jinak se rozpadne!)
  • Koření. To. Nahoru. Existuje důvod, proč tofu dostává flak za to, ze je nevýrazné, a to proto, ze je! Ujistěte se, ze ji dobře okořeníte. Můzete ho marinovat nebo připravit podle receptu na tofu zapečené do křupava.
