About the Book

Many will not admit that they do not have a problem with putting their flesh in subjection, to the Spirit of God. Many will not admit that their flesh is weak and disobedient at times. The truth is that every Christian must learn to put their flesh into subjection to Gods Spirit. One of the most important things a child of God must learn, is to tell their Flesh, to lay down, why, our fleshly thinking is weak, we all get our strength from God alone, this is becoming grounded and rooted in things that are spiritual. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. God wants to get across to the church of Jesus Christ, many things concerning, our flesh, our fleshly thinking, because it gets in the way at times, in our service and relationship with God. Many of Gods children do not even realize or know it. Yet this book will tell secrets, of the devils little bag of spiritual tricks. To expose Satan's habits that Christians need to learn to lay down, in your walk with God. Here is a small but a good little list of things that is about our flesh that truly does get in the way, with our walk with God and many of Gods children do not even realize it at all, for many in the body of Christ. These things even stagger many of Gods people and slow their walk down with God. These things even rob Gods children of many blessings and they are not even aware of it, because of spiritual blinders. -This flesh is disobedient. -It is stubborn. -It is in denial. -It is lazy. -It makes up excuses. These things will rob you of spiritual growth, of spiritual understanding, of spiritual blessings of many. They will also keep you from learning the truth of Gods will for your life and many things that God desires at many times, to discern or reveal unto you, as a hearer of his Spirit. Yet the flesh will make up every excuse, to say no, when Gods Spirit ask you to go and pray. This flesh is disobedient, stubborn, and lazy and makes up excuses, why you cannot go and pray, when the Holy Spirit, places it in your minds thoughts and in your spirit, to do so. This is why this teaching is so vital unto every Christians walk with God. You see it is up to us as a child of God to see the spiritual pattern that many Christians, truly do have and they are spiritually, weak, not gifted, blind to many spiritual truths, will not pray or read Gods word and many skip out of church and many are under nourished spiritually. Because of these spiritual truths, many have never grown to know, who the Holy Spirit is in their life and many have not learned his voice and the Holy Spirit cannot lead them into all truth, which his ministry does in a believer's life. These things are spiritually stunting the growth of Gods children. These things are stopping many from learning the truths that God, has always desired to reveal unto the bride of Jesus Christ, us his beloved. It is up to you personally to say to your flesh, lay down. What I'm really saying with this statement is that it is all up to you to become, obedient to the voice of God. When the Holy Spirit asks you to go and pray and to yield to your heavenly language of tongues and when God asks you to read his written word, and to give to someone or to a ministry, these are spiritual hints to obey Gods Spirit and his promptings, as he give them unto you. The Holy Spirit has a reason why that he is asking you to do these things. It is up to you to learn to become faithful and obedient to the voice and leading's of Gods Spirit, when he ministers things unto you. In your not realizing it, he is trying to teach you to become a hearer of his Spirit. He is trying to teach you to hear spiritually and to lead you into times of prayer and bible readings, for you to follow his promptings at all times, when he gives them unto you. You're in spiritual training and many miss it all together and do not even k
About the Author: My name is Pastor Luke L. Chapman. I haven't always been a preacher, quite the contrary. When I was a young teenager everyone always said: "Boy what a good kid Luke is. He is a wonderful young man." Because of a stepfather that had no love for me, my clothes were packed for me and placed on the front porch on Christmas morning. Arrangements were already made for a near friend to pick me up to take me to my real dad's home. This became a cycle unto me. I learned soon to take flight in life, realizing I'm on my own. I was kicked out of school for truancy, failure to want to go to school and to learn. This started a foundation for my life, for my ongoing future. My new friends taught me how to smoke, drink, and cuss and to tell lies. I graduated to smoking weed and using cocaine. I never drank or used cocaine on a regular basis. I just started on weekends or invited parties. I got married and had a Child when I was 21 years old. But, with a lifestyle of drinking, spending money in bars and not on bills or in my home, I soon went through a divorce. Does this sound familiar, like today's youths? At this time, now I'm remarried my wife and I are both cocaine addicts. My wife smoked weed? I sold weed and cocaine to supply our habits. My wife left me one day. I was arrested the same day and put in jail. In jail, I bowed my knees on the floor in my cell. I was the only one there that day. I called upon Jesus and was saved and sent to North Central Correctional Institution. I never thought anyone cared. But I was so wrong. What was meant for evil for me, God changed for the good. Prison became My Bible College. Prison was where God counseled me about my morals. God taught me about being a good husband, a good father unto my Children and how a preacher must live and act. I served six and a half years in prison to learn not do use drugs, not to walk through life aimlessly. I learned my lesson. God raised me up to be a preacher in prison. Prison was my lifesaver. Wow, what a statement one might say! The reason prison was my lifeline was I could have graduated to the other side of life... Six Feet Down. I almost did! I had a heart attack, just before I was sent to prison, from smoking crack cocaine. I almost died. Your Friend... The Harley Davidson Preacher Man Luke L. Chapman Gods Vision...
