Sometimes as parents and leaders, we get so caught up in the day-to-day activities that we do to carry out our "jobs," we don't see some of the places that are broken in our own lives. We often miss those spots where we need to take a closer look at ourselves. We wear masks and phony smiles, and attempt to portray that "all is good" when in reality... we're dying on the inside and don't know how to fix what's wrong. About the Author: Dr. Beverly A. Crockett is a Christian business woman who has accomplished a vast array of tasks. Although she attended various universities and colleges after graduating from high school, and received a multitude of certifications from completing various courses, including cosmetology, it wasn't until she relocated to Southern California that she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and a Master's and Doctoral Degree in Biblical Counseling. It was known early on that she had writing abilities, although they were yet to be fully exercised and utilized. As an author she wrote her first book, "Just Run the Race," released in August, 2008; an introduction to Dr. Crockett's early years and how God taught her to persevere and endure through the most horrific and adverse times of her young life. After developing leadership manuals, assisting in preparation of new members' manuals, and teaching volunteer workshops for the county of Riverside, California, she authored, "Just Run the Race - You Are a Champion," a power packed testament to God's ability to strengthen anyone to be victorious in life's endeavors, This publication was re-released in July, 2014 on a global level, with a fresh new look. Another area of gifting is resume and grant writing, proofreading, and editing, which prompted her to launch her business, Executive Business Writing. Her company motto is, "We Write So You Don't Have To!" She has coached and assisted several authors through the writing and self-publishing process, many of whom are successful, and are even working on publishing additional books and materials. She has been a Christian Educator for well over 15 years, developing curriculum for students desiring to become leaders, and for those who yearn for knowledge in specific areas of ministry. She has been the featured speaker in numerous conferences, workshops, and college preparatory classes. Her focus is on bringing out maximum potential in those she encounters. Whether in a work-shop, leadership training, or conflict resolution session, the desire to assist in catapulting individuals into their destiny is always at the center of her efforts, assisting many to seek, find, and pursue the will of God in their lives.
