Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Sozialpädagogik / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,7, Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig (FB Sozialwesen), Veranstaltung: Methoden der Sozialen Arbeit: Klientenzentr. Gesprächsführung, 4 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Von anderen verstanden zu werden, wünschen sich die meisten. Doch wie funktioniert das? Kann man die Emotionen des Gegenüber erfühlen oder gar erraten? Hilfreiche Gespräche hat jeder von Zeit zu Zeit und auch ich habe festgestellt, dass man mit seinen Problemen zu demjenigen geht, wo man glaubt, dass dieser einen am besten versteht. Doch was macht das einfache Zuhören zum empathischen Kommunizieren? Und kann man diese Eigenschaft auch durch intensives Training erwerben? Rogers beantwortete die letzte Frage mit Ja, als er sein Konzept der Klientenzentrierten Beratung bzw. Psychotherapie publizierte. Darin formulierte er das Einfühlende Verstehen als eine der Grundanforderungen an einen nondirektiven Berater und er beschrieb lernbare Techniken zur Umsetzung seiner Vorgaben. Rogers gilt in dieser Hinsicht als Vorreiter, doch viele Autoren entwickelten sein Konzept weiter, so dass es bis heute aktuell geblieben ist. Im Seminar Methoden der Sozialen Einzelhilfe habe ich Rogers kennen gelernt und mich in der Anwendung seiner Ratschläge geübt. Gleichzeitig dazu erhielt ich im Einführungspraktikum im Seniorenzentrum an der Weißen Elster durch meine Anleiterin theoretisches Wissen zur Validation, einem speziellen aus den USA stammenden Konzept im Umgang mit hochbetagten Senioren. Dazu habe ich Bücher gelesen, Videos geschaut und die Sozialarbeiterin bei der Anwendung genau studiert. Später probierte ich es selbst aus und spürte relativ schnelle Erfolge in der Kommunikation mit dementiell erkrankten Bewohnern. Ich sah viele Parallelen zu Rogers und das weckte das Interesse zu einem Vergleich beider Ansätze. Dabei kann ich sowohl mein Wissen aus dem Seminar, als auch prakt
