Jacobo Paz introdúcenos así no mundo dos príncipes e dos demos, dos seres monstruosos de raizame clásica coma Orcavella -hai nela un chocar de ollo á Medusa-, e mais na lenda tradicional de Ana Manana, que tamén tratou no seu momento, e tamén no xénero infantil, Euloxio R. Ruibal. O libro ten dobre valor: é unha lectura deliciosa para os rapaces e tamén debería ser unha inspiración de primeira orde para as compañías na busca dun público hoxe interesante e mañá esencial para soster o teatro galego. A colección Caderno de Laiovento tenta acurtar algunhas distancias entre a escrita teatral e os lectores de literatura. Distancias difíciles que, na maior parte dos casos, impiden unha relación habitual e cotián entre o dramaturgo e os lectores. O octavo volume desta colección recolle tres pezas escénicas para nenos, de Jacobo Paz, que, para non confundir a ninguén, leva por título "Teatro infantil". Con certa frescura o autor volve sobre algúns dos tics do xénero: animais, princesas, personaxes da tradición popular, con ese tono entre exótico e recoñecido que gastan todos. Fábulas directas nese temo que todo o mundo xulga como anterior pero que, en realidade, é indeterminado, especialmente vista a importancia que as monarquías conservan na realidade social. Historias co punto de revirado xusto, coa súa pinga de amor e algo de aventura, sorpresas argumentais e maxia. Un conxunto de ingredientes que se consideran típicos dos relatos infantís e que levan poboando un certo mundo mítico que desaparece coa chegada a adolescencia ou que se transforma en grupo musical ou en sagas tan inxenuas como as de Tolkien. A intención aquí e conservar a atención dos espectadores cativos por medio da fabulación e dun sentido máis ben divertido da narración. About the Author: Jacobo Paz Limia (A Coruña, 1979) creador e guionista da serie "Casa Manola" de Televisión de Galicia. Tamén escribiu noutras ficcións de TVG, como a popular comedia "Pratos combinados" ou "As leis de Celavella", un thriller de época polo que recibiu o Premio Mestre Mateo da Academia Galega do Audiovisual. Participou no desenvolvemento dunha serie de ficción para Mediaset España e na actualidade traballa na escrita de longametraxes e películas para televisión. Foi redactor e guionista do programa de cámaras ocultas a nenos "E agora que?" e do reality show "O gran camiño". Tamén desenvolveu numerosos formatos para programas de televisión; como "Sobre rodas", do que se emitiron tres temporadas en Vtelevisión, ou "Maniotas", unha produción de Filmax para TVG. Director e guionista de diversos documentais de difusión cultural. Entre os seus traballos de non-ficción destaca a escrita de "Galicia Caníbal", para Televisión Española e seleccionado polo Beefeater In-Edit Festival. Como autor teatral foi contratado polo Centro Dramático Galego e traballou na creación do espectáculo "Estigma". Na actualidade, entre pezas publicadas e representadas, a súa obra dramática supera os trinta títulos. "Teatro Infantil" foi publicado por Edicións Laiovento en 2007.
