When German teacher Laurena Woytowicz arrives at Peter Albright's school for the new school term, Peter suddenly begins having debilitating headaches. Laurena's talented Reiki ability is the only thing that seems to help him get rid of the pain.
When Laurena finds an old piano at the Phoenix Musical Instrument Museum, that has a secret drawer with a notebook in it, she invites Peter to help her unravel the mystery she has found. Together they discover that the piano is a portal into the past, and they are suddenly transported into a World War II concentration camp in Theresienstadt, Germany.
