About the Book

About the Author

Latha Venkatesan is currently Principal, Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai. She has completed her MSc Nursing from College of Nursing, CMCH, Vellore, MPhil Nursing from MAHE, Manipal, PhD from TNMGR Medical University, Chennai, and MBA in Hospital Management from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. With the vast experience of 25 years in the field of nursing education, she is a guide for PhD students in INC-RGUHS consortium and TNDMGR Medical University.
She is the Governing Council member of the TNMGR Medical University, Chairperson of Nursing Research of TNAI’s Tamil Nadu branch, Executive Editor of Journal of Nursing Education and Administration, published by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council. She is an invited speaker in many national and international conferences and has published many papers in reputed nursing journals.
Poonam Joshi is currently Lecturer, College of Nursing, AIIMS, New Delhi. She has been engaged in training nurses for over one decade in Nursing Education, Nursing Research and Child Health Nursing. She has completed her MSc Nursing from RAK College of Nursing, New Delhi, and is pursuing PhD from Rajeev Gandhi University Health Sciences, Karnataka. She is a known authority on Nursing Education and has contributed to several books and periodicals, including some renowned international journals.
