Prof. Vyas did his postdoctoral research at the School of Pharmacy University of London (U.K.) under the supervision of Prof. Gregory Gregoriadis a renowned liposomologist. He has supervised 17 Ph.D. and more than 55 M.Pharm. Research projects. He has over 150 research publications to his credit published in international and national journals. He has been awarded Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Award for excellence in research in Engineering and Technology by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. He is a recipient of Motan Devi Dandiya Oration Award 1998 and recently he has been honoured with Best Pharmacy Teacher of the Year 2001 Award by APTI. Prof. Roopkrishan Khar is a renowned academician and a research scientist. He was university gold medallist for standing 1st in B.Pharm. He was selected by Ministry of H.R.D. for a Ph.D. fellowship under Indo-Bulgarian cultural exchange programme and was awarded Ph.D in the year 1986 by Sofia Medical Academy Bulgaria. During his cultural exchange fellowship he visited most of the east and west European countries as a part of his academic programme. Dr. Khar has developed a research school in Controlled Drug Delivery Systems and is at present intensively involved in development of mucosal and periodontal delivery among others. He has supervised 10 Ph.D. thesis and 30 M.Pharm. Thesis and published 80 research papers in International and National journals.
