Their ball is gone!
Best friends Wombat and Wallaby are playing catch by the water's edge when Wombat throws their ball too hard. Off it goes, bouncing right up next to a rusty old tank.
RUSTLE! CREAK! BANG! Goes the tank.
It's a monster!
The strange noises frighten the two friends and they are too afraid to get their ball.
Wombat and Wallaby try to enlist the help of the other bush animals, but they soon discover most of the animals are scared too, and each has a good reason to stay away from the tank.
Unhappy, Wombat and Wallaby believe they will never get their ball back from the monster, until one brave animal comes waddling along.
Will this creature be able to help them?
Or will they all get eaten by what is hiding in the tank?
The Tank Monster is a fun kid's book for young readers who love to read, or for adults who enjoy reading to their children.
It is set in the Australian outback and features some of the native Australian animals that live there, such as emu, goanna, koala, echidna, and snake.
Nicely written and illustrated, with full illustrations on each story page.
It would make a great addition to any young children's book collection.
