About the Book

Tales of Blood and Milk is a short story collection featuring various genre bending stories; mostly falling into the categories of supernatural horror and science fiction. This first edition comprises eleven distinct titles featuring a host of interesting characters, placed in weird situations and strange places. A brief synopsis of the stories is as follows: The Wolfman's Struggle: Two members of an ancient order discuss their struggle with the Wolfmen. A somewhat dangerous proposal is presented and the subordinate must make a tough decision. Inbetweeners: A young lady takes a new job in a research lab. Turns out the job description left out a few important details. Teddy Barely: A little girl has a series of strange and nightmarish encounters with her newly acquired Teddy Bear. Cute and cuddly...not! Thirty-Four (34): A young couple waits at the bus stop on a cold dark winter night. While waiting on the 34 bus, they are joined by two enigmatic strangers and a battle between good and evil ensues. Aptrgangr: Viking warrior, Ragnar Lodbrok is getting too old for it all. As he lays in bed one night he is visited by a ghost from the past. Good Parenting: A couple finally gets a bun in the oven. All very exciting stuff. But then things get weird...real weird. Blocked: A painter is experiencing a creative block. He dives into the abyss and brings forth...a master piece? Once Upon a Stranger: Sometimes the doors of time and space open and strangers crossover, with frightening consequences. Retribution: Betrayed and imprisoned, Kushim a vampire is encased in a glass coffin and left out in the desert to face certain demise from the soon rising sun. He claims to welcome death after a long and harsh life, but is he really ready? Night Drive: A woman driving across state lines experiences strange occurrences on the road after picking up a hitch-hiker. It all feels too weird. Must be a dream...or a nightmare...or worse. Bagels: Follow Mr. Ellis, a Bagel shop owner as he heads to work full of excitement for a day of Bagel making. Little does he know his world is about to go burning down.
