Accepte-le" ai-je dit. Parce que cette ville est la terre des poètes. Pour ne citer que quelques-uns, Rimbaud y a séjourné durant l'été 1886 au moment où Verlaine publiait ses deux oeuvres majeures. Deniau, l'académicien y a élu asile. Son Altesse le défunt Sultan, lui avait offert la rade de Raysali. Celui-ci a aussi écrit Tadjoura mais y traite d'autres sujets. Cette ville a aussi attiré et fasciné l'immense poète qu'est Rachid Hachi et pour le prix de son séjour, cet écrivain prolifique lui rend hommage dans ce recueil qu'il a intitulé tout simplement Tadjourah. En outre, le poète savoure les majestueuses plages et places de cette ville, de cette région où les montagnes irriguent la mer dont les vagues amoureusement viennent se reposer sur les sables blancs. L'oeuvre s'ouvre sur l'hymne au pays natal, et se structure en trois grandes sections: le pays, peuple et nature et enfin légende. Le Lecteur est invité à un voyage au sein du pays, un appel patriotique d'un fils (yinay yibaaxoy) qui invite et incite ses compatriotes à découvrir leur pays au sens propre du terme. Il y met en valeur les sites touristiques, les coins paradisiaques comme Bankoualeh où tout est poésie et beauté. Lire ce recueil c'est déjà un voyage intérieur guidé par les vers sublimes et tendres de Rachid qui nous saoule, nous enivre de joie et de satisfaction. Car on y apprend la beauté majestueuse de notre pays, ce joyau géologique mais aussi mythologique. Notre patrie est un musée à ciel ouvert et nos compatriotes, des poètes légendaires. Nos cultures (Mon sultan n'est plus...) sont aussi des sources d'inspiration et de respect. Enfin, il convient de retenir que le poète Rachid Hachi nous livre ici un hymne à une région qui l'a marqué et pour laquelle il éprouve un amour presque maternel. Le poète aime la mer, les marins, en un mot il aime "vivre à la plage", comme les habitants de Tadjourah. Il offre sa page blanche à la ville blanche et la ville lui ouvre fraternellement ses plages et lui donne sa mer comme encre pour écrire et réécrire ses poésies.Dr Aboyta Amoyta
