Magdalena se parece un poco a la gorrita roja, ¿es Sébastien el lobo? Elodie, entonces, sería pastora. Podría haber sido una historia. No escribí eso de una nueva Caperucita Roja. Esta es otra historia que les presento para su lectura.

Cada año se reúne una familia en el castillo familiar, donde vive el abuelo. Es una línea de abogados, un trabajo como cualquier otro, podrían haber sido salteadores de caminos. Ese no fue el caso.

Sébastien, un joven miembro de esta línea que todo el mundo vería bien estudiado derecho, es alérgico al derecho, casi le salen granos si se menciona una ley o un reglamento. La ley le parece tan inteligible como un tratado de matemáticas escrito en mandarín.

En la familia también está su prima Elodie, no es realmente un acuerdo cordial. También conocemos a otros jóvenes más o menos enamorados de las leyes y reglamentos.

Los recuerdos de la abuela, que huyó tras ellos, hace al menos 10 años, desapareció, impregnan menos a la familia. Una rama de la familia regresó cuando ésta se evaporó.

Con cada sucesión se renueva un conflicto: uno de los niños tiene el castillo, el otro el dinero. En cada generación, los descontentos la llevan en el mejor de los casos.

La primera noche, sorprende a Elodie desnudándose invocando a dioses desconocidos, se pregunta si no se habrá puesto un código civil sobre su cabeza, o incluso toda la colección Dalloz. Aprender la ley a veces provoca ataques de demencia. Sébastien tiene el ejemplo.

En los prados de la propiedad conoce a una caperucita roja que no le llevó pastel a su abuela, a ella le interesan los fantasmas y los seres sobrenaturales. Ella le revela que en el castillo escuchamos el grito de los torturados dentro de las mazmorras. Se escuchan otros ruidos, se pregunta si será una alucinación, una broma o fantasmas.

Invita a la joven a comprobar por sí misma que nadie gime en el sótano del castillo. Se desarrolla una historia. En vacaciones todo va rápido, tenemos poco tiempo.

El caso de Elodie le preocupa, se lo comunica a Magdalena, Caperucita Roja, unos días después, se entera de que Elodie ha sufrido un shock emocional, pide ayuda a su abuela, acusa a su abuelo, presidente de un tribunal de Apelación de haberlo matado.

Magdalena se dedica a consolar a Elodie, necesita ayuda, la naturaleza humana puede resplandecer. Sébastien se muestra cauteloso, porque sospecha que ella está interesada en las nalgas de su novia, su aspecto de santo nitouche con un traje cortado para las facultades de derecho no lo engaña. También puede ser que sus fantasías lo dominen, privándolo de su libre albedrío.

Los jóvenes participan en el embellecimiento de la propiedad en los viñedos y huertas, empiezan a buscar a la abuela.

Elodie y Magdalena se vuelven inseparables. Se crea un juego entre ellos, él no es consciente de ello, lo que se gana es conocer la naturaleza de este choque emocional.
